{{editsemiprotected}} I am requesting the use to edit the semi-protected page of "Justin Bieber". Some of the information is inaccurate, and has been so for some time. I want to take it upon myself to edit that page with the right information from reliable sources.

Actually, I think you've misunderstood the template. Once your account is 4 days old and has 10 edits, you are free to edit that page. This template is to be used for the article's talk page and requesting specific edits done to it. If you wish to be able to edit the page now, you can place {{adminhelp}} on the page and ask for "confirmed rights" so as to be able to edit the page. Thanks,  fetchcomms 04:47, 21 January 2010 (UTC)
Actually you can edit it right now. No need for any other templates (you actually edited it already). A semiprotected page cannot be edited by anonymous users and those with accounts with fewer than 10 edits and under 4 days of age.  fetchcomms 04:49, 21 January 2010 (UTC)
Please stop adding those sources to the Justin Bieber page, Twitter is unreliable. The source already used for his birthday covers it. Candyo32 (talk)

February 2010

Please do not add or change content without citing verifiable and reliable sources. Before making any potentially controversial edits, it is recommended that you discuss them first on the article's talk page. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you.I've warned you already that Twitter is an unreliable source by Wikipedia standards. Candyo32 (talk) 05:55, 26 February 2010 (UTC)

Fair use rationale for File:The Mark Few Show.png

Thanks for uploading or contributing to File:The Mark Few Show.png. I notice the file page specifies that the file is being used under fair use but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia constitutes fair use. Please go to the file description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. ww2censor (talk) 05:09, 9 March 2010 (UTC)

Thank you for uploading File:The Mark Few Show.png. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the file. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their license and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. FASTILYsock(TALK) 02:01, 22 March 2010 (UTC)

The article Toyota's Best Doggone Zags Show has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Non-notable sports show lacking GHits and GNEWS.

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{dated prod}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. ttonyb (talk) 06:04, 2 May 2010 (UTC)

I have nominated Toyota's Best Doggone Zags Show, an article that you created, for deletion. I do not think that this article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and have explained why at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Toyota's Best Doggone Zags Show. Your opinions on the matter are welcome at that same discussion page; also, you are welcome to edit the article to address these concerns. Thank you for your time.

Please contact me if you're unsure why you received this message. ttonyb (talk) 19:44, 10 May 2010 (UTC)

Orphaned non-free image File:SWX Spirit Cup Ad.jpg

⚠

Thanks for uploading File:SWX Spirit Cup Ad.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

PLEASE NOTE:

  • I am a bot, and will therefore not be able to answer your questions.
  • I will remove the request for deletion if the file is used in an article once again.
  • If you receive this notice after the image is deleted, and you want to restore the image, click here to file an un-delete request.
  • To opt out of these bot messages, add {{bots|deny=DASHBot}} to your talk page.
  • If you believe the bot has made an error, please turn it off here and leave a message on my owner's talk page.

Thank you. DASHBot (talk) 05:37, 11 May 2010 (UTC)

Please do not remove Articles for deletion notices from articles or remove other people's comments in Articles for deletion pages, as you did with Toyota's Best Doggone Zags Show. Doing so won't stop the discussion from taking place. You are, however, welcome to comment about the proposed deletion on the appropriate page. Thank you. ttonyb (talk) 19:01, 13 May 2010 (UTC)

Your RfA

I have closed your request for adminship early as unsuccessful (please see WP:NOTNOW). Unfortunately, with only about 100 edits, it is unlikely that your candidacy will succeed. However, don't let this discourage you from editing; it's just that other users do not have enough basis to judge you on. Try to get at least 3,000 edits; you will be welcome to re-apply then. -- King of 00:55, 30 May 2010 (UTC)

Hello! Thanks for making this article. Do you know of any reliable sources that can go on the page to help establish how notable this subject is? ErikHaugen (talk) 17:26, 18 June 2010 (UTC)

I found another reliable source for the article Perry Teneyck. It came from Statsheet.com. (talk) 21:41, 18 June 2010 (UTC)
Great; thanks. Please see the general notability guidelines to see what kinds of things will further help establish notability. cheers, ErikHaugen (talk) 02:27, 20 June 2010 (UTC)

Please stop making all those links on the My World Tour page. If a song does not have a page of its own it is understood and does not need to be linked to the album. Candyo32 (talk) 23:52, 29 June 2010 (UTC)

My World Tour GA

I have ABSOLUTELY no idea why you nominated the article to be a good article. The tour's not even over, and the page has no information but tour dates, and therefore the article has quick-failed. I overly suggest that you need to check the critera Wikipedia:Good article criteria or check examples of good articles such as One Time, My World (EP), or Over (Drake song), because clearly you have no idea what a good article is. I apologize for having an aggressive tone, I am just stunned that you would nominate such a start-class of an article. Anyway, happy editing! Candyo32 (talk) 03:28, 7 July 2010 (UTC)

Edits to Never Say Never

First of all, keep in mind that links should be at the chart, not at the chart position. And we spelling this out feat. ---> featuring. Candyo32 (talk) 01:12, 15 July 2010 (UTC)

Oh, ok. I was unaware of that, but now I know. Rp0211 (talk) 19:55, 15 July 2010 (UTC)
Also please stop going on a linking frenzy common terms (such as countries) in music articles do not need to be linked. Candyo32 (talk) 20:53, 15 July 2010 (UTC)
Well, I have been on Wikipedia for over seven months, and some things I didn't know were rules, etc. Where can I read up to know how to contribute correctly? Also, it seems that most of my edits on music articles are deleted by you. I am curious about that. Lol. Rp0211 (talk) 03:56, 16 July 2010 (UTC)
Click on Help on the sidebar. And I am the main contributor to the Bieber articles, making most of them WP:GA, currently seven and two are up for nomination. So that is why. Candyo32 23:43, 19 July 2010 (UTC)

You are now a Reviewer

Hello. Your account has been granted the "reviewer" userright, allowing you to review other users' edits on certain flagged pages. Pending changes, also known as flagged protection, is currently undergoing a two-month trial scheduled to end 15 August 2010.

Reviewers can review edits made by users who are not autoconfirmed to articles placed under pending changes. Pending changes is applied to only a small number of articles, similarly to how semi-protection is applied but in a more controlled way for the trial. The list of articles with pending changes awaiting review is located at Special:OldReviewedPages.

For the guideline on reviewing, see Wikipedia:Reviewing. Being granted reviewer rights doesn't change how you can edit articles even with pending changes. The general help page on pending changes can be found here, and the general policy for the trial can be found here.

If you do not want this userright, you may ask any administrator to remove it for you at any time. —DoRD (talk) 13:11, 20 July 2010 (UTC)

Talkback

Hello, Rp0211. You have new messages at Wikipedia:Requests for permissions/Rollback.
Message added 20:08, 20 July 2010 (UTC). You can remove this notice at any time by removing the {{Talkback}} or {{Tb}} template.

Rollback question

Why did you use the rollback to revert this edit? I'm pretty sure that edit looks more like a good faith edit rather than vandalism. Since your rollback rights were granted, I'd advise to be very careful with the rollback button. Minimac (talk) 20:12, 21 July 2010 (UTC)

I was editing this article and wanted to change the formatting to what it was before, and wanted to undo the change the previous user had done to better fit the article. I realize now I should have used the "Undo" action instead of "Rollback", which is used exclusively for reverting vandalism. Rp0211 (talk) 20:17, 21 July 2010 (UTC)

Welcome to Wikipedia. Everyone is welcome to contribute to the encyclopedia, but when you add or change content, as you did to the article Jennette McCurdy, please cite a reliable source for the content of your edit. This helps maintain our policy of verifiability. Take a look at Wikipedia:Citing sources for information about how to cite sources and the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. Hello, Rp0211. You have new messages at Talk:Oops!... I Did It Again World Tour/GA2.
Message added 00:00, 27 July 2010 (UTC). You can remove this notice at any time by removing the {{Talkback}} or {{Tb}} template.
You should have placed this on hold rather than failing after a 39 minute review. The aim is to improve articles, not to just get them out of the queue. Please read Wikipedia:Reviewing good articles before undertaking further reviews. –– Jezhotwells (talk) 00:24, 27 July 2010 (UTC)
Also, please remember to fill in the edit summary field when making edits. –– Jezhotwells (talk) 00:31, 27 July 2010 (UTC)
Thank you for reconsidering reviewing the article again. Glad to see it all worked out. warrior4321 03:54, 27 July 2010 (UTC)
Please do not removed transcluded reviews from the article talk page. –– Jezhotwells (talk) 08:53, 27 July 2010 (UTC)
I don't recall doing so. Could you provide me with the diff of said action? warrior4321 05:23, 28 July 2010 (UTC)
My message was for the user whose talk page this is. 18:11, 28 July 2010 (UTC)
Then, you shouldn't have indented. An indent is a reply to the comment you are indenting from. See WP:INDENT for more information. warrior4321 18:17, 28 July 2010 (UTC)

Your GA nomination of Halfway Gone

The article Halfway Gone you nominated as a good article has failed; see Talk:Halfway Gone for comments. I think you may want to extensively look at other GA's and other GA reviews before you attempt to improve this article or nominate another, or before you review another GAN. Thanks! GA Error

Hello. This is a message regarding your review of Woohoo. Thank you for your contributions but unfortunately i have reverted your edits. Your passing of the article was in good faith, but was extremely premature. In 10 minutes ive noticed over ten errors and thats just with a glance, i haven't even read the article yet. Im going to politely ask that you hold off on conducting any more reivews until you have read and fully understand all of WP:GA? and WP:MOS. Any questions comments or concerns please ask. Thanks again. (CK)Lakeshadetalk2me 04:14, 28 July 2010 (UTC)

I concur. This is the second or third time that you have been questioned in your reviews of GA's and I highly recommend you check out GA critera and the MoS before you make another review or learn how to do one correctly. Thanks. Candyo32 04:54, 28 July 2010 (UTC)
I deeply apologize for all of this. I will read both articles mentioned, to make sure I completely understand reviewing good articles, and wait for a while until I review another article. I want to let you both know, however, that I was acting in good faith when I was reviewing these articles, but obviously have missed important criteria when reviewing these articles. Thank you for your feedback. It is greatly appreciated for someone who is fairly new to Wikipedia. Rp0211 (talk) 06:30, 28 July 2010 (UTC)
No worries. I had no doubt that they were made in good faith. Just make sure to read up and ask questions. Reading others peoples reviews of GA's and other GA's is also a great idea. Happy editing :) (CK)Lakeshadetalk2me 08:19, 28 July 2010 (UTC)
I had no intentions of bad faith on your part, becoming better and better on Wikipedia is all a learning experience :) Candyo32 14:48, 28 July 2010 (UTC)

Please stop reviewing Good Article nominations. You have been notified of several flawed reviews. I have started a thread on your behaviour at WT:GAN#User:Rp0211. –– Jezhotwells (talk) 20:24, 28 July 2010 (UTC)

User page

Seems you are using the coding for my userpage, I was trying to have my own and would appreciate if you didn't. For one if you had proper etiquette you would have asked or something before using my userpage design, which is exactly like mine because i used fonts and images not in the original because I was trying to be unique, now I have the design the same as my own. There are several different things you can do at Wikipedia:User page design center to help do your own. Candyo32 00:06, 29 July 2010 (UTC)

Oh, ok. I was using your template for my user page for now because I didn't know how to create one for myself. I will read up on it, but for now, it will remain here. Once I know how to do my own userpage, I will quickly get rid of the template. Thanks for the link! Rp0211 (talk) 01:29, 29 July 2010 (UTC)
Everything on Wikipedia is released under a license that allows the editor to use your coding. Please the read below the Save Page button : If you do not want your writing to be edited, used, and redistributed at will, then do not submit it here. warrior4321 02:10, 29 July 2010 (UTC)
Well of course I know that I'm not an idiot. It's just general etiquette not to use someone elses things, especially when I fixed the icons and fonts, etc simply for my to be unique to other pages. Candyo32 02:22, 29 July 2010 (UTC)
But, it's -not- yours. It's open for anyone to take and use, at their whim without your permission or content. That is the purpose of such a license. There are licenses which assure that the content creator has given their consent that the material can be copied. Fortunately, Wikipedia has a license which doesn't ask for the content creator to give their consent ; anyone can take anything off your user page and keep it their for as long as they wish. warrior4321 02:33, 29 July 2010 (UTC)
Your going way to deep in this. It was just a simple conversation of respecting someone's wishes not to use their things. That is all. This was personal, it's not like I brought up a Wikipedia guideline where you can't copy someone's user page. Like I stated before it is just general etiquette. Candyo32 02:35, 29 July 2010 (UTC)
No problem Rp, and if I came on as rude, I deeply apologize. As usual, feel free to ask any questions on anything you need help on :) ! Candyo32 03:31, 29 July 2010 (UTC)
I also edited your sub-pages, now your menu appears on all your pages. Candyo32 03:35, 29 July 2010 (UTC)
Thanks Candyo32! :) Rp0211 (talk) 05:55, 29 July 2010 (UTC)
No problem, and I added it to your workshop page too. Candyo32 19:13, 29 July 2010 (UTC)

Your GA nomination of Halfway Gone

The article Halfway Gone you nominated as a good article has failed; see Talk:Halfway_Gone/GA2 for comments. Among other problems, the references really need some work, and keep in mind the last comment I left on the review page. Candyo32 16:11, 4 August 2010 (UTC)

I see now, I guess it is credible, I may not be sure though. I couldn't check background information behind the site because you didn't have it linked. But I assume it is fine. Candyo32 18:39, 4 August 2010 (UTC)
I'll have to check on the image again. I think that the music video section isn't substantial enough to include an image. It is a fairly short section. I don't understand what you mean by wiki-link. You can link the work if it is a page for it. IF it is a publication leave it w/o italics so they will show up. If it is not a publication that use the italics symbols so it will not be italicized. Never mind about the remixes, I see that they are sourced. Candyo32 20:24, 5 August 2010 (UTC)
It has a good shot, be sure to proofread. Candyo32 20:49, 5 August 2010 (UTC)

Your GA nomination of Halfway Gone

The article Halfway Gone you nominated as a good article has been placed on hold . The article is close to meeting the good article criteria, but there are some minor changes or clarifications needed to be addressed. If these are fixed within seven days, the article will pass, otherwise it will fail. See Talk:Halfway Gone for things which need to be addressed.
